About Aleda
I am an English Major, and have 2 years of experience in tutoring peers. English is often overlooked as a wasted study, but as a Native English speaker, I have grown to appreciate the power of verbal and nonverbal communication. The way we use words will always matter, professionally speaking and within our everyday lives.

My teaching methodology is very indirect. Students often look for the hoops they can jump through to please their teachers and get an A. More often than not, the student already knows the answer if they are asked the right question. English is the way we communicate, which is different from person to person, even though the language is the same. Language is used to express thoughts and feelings; there is no definitive answer, which I have found to be the biggest struggle among students.
