About Anushka
I had initially planned to pursue B.Com, but life led me to English as my major—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Literature, as one of my professors often said, makes you aware. Over time, I’ve realized how true that is. My love for language and literature has only deepened with every year of study. I was always strong in English during school, I scored 92/100 in my board exams but university-level literature opened up an entirely new world for me. It showed me how different it is from school English: richer, more complex, and transformative. Studying literature has not only sharpened my command of the language but also shaped me as a person—making me more thoughtful, open-minded, and aware of the world around me. What I value most is that literature creates a space without judgment, where stories and voices are respected. That is the perspective I bring into my teaching as well: language as a tool for expression, confidence, and growth.

I believe learning should be a balance of clarity, comfort, and curiosity. My focus is always on building strong basics and creating an environment where students feel confident to ask questions without hesitation. I keep my classes interactive and engaging, so that language doesn’t feel like a burden but something they can genuinely enjoy.
For me, teaching is not just about preparing students for exams—it’s about helping them develop a real connection with the subject, one that improves their confidence and stays with them in the long run. I truly believe there are no weak students, only different learning styles, and with the right guidance every child can do well. My aim is to be that supportive guide who not only helps them improve their marks, but also helps them see the subject as a skill and strength they can carry forward.
