I am a University graduate from the University of Cape Town. I majored in English and History. I teach these subjects to Grade 12, and also teach Mathematics to Grade 8. I have been teaching for over 10 years, with great success.

I STRIVE TO MAKE LEARNING CLEAR, REAL AND RELEVANT
I always establish, right at the beginning with my students, as to what are their particular requirements.
I then co-create lessons my students that best fit in with their individual needs.
I am patient and understanding.
I will always go the extra mile to source any information I might not know for my students, if asked.
I give extra information.
I create study plans for my students.
I teach to the learner's strength's and minimize the weaknesses. This encourages self-paced and self-directed learning.
Setting realistic goals ensures the student has more self-esteem and is more likely to participate in the classroom.
