About Caroline
Hi, I’m Caroline, a Global Commerce major at Denison University, where I’ve built strong communication and writing skills through both business and liberal arts coursework. Although my degree focuses on business, English has always been my passion and strongest subject—from crafting essays and analyzing literature to proofreading and editing. Over the years, I’ve developed effective strategies to write clearly and confidently, and now I love sharing those tools with younger students. I approach every tutoring session with patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to help students feel more capable in their English work.

I offer tutoring for students in kindergarten through 8th grade, covering essay writing, grammar, spelling, proofreading, and reading comprehension.
My teaching method is all about meeting students where they are. I break down writing into manageable steps and offer simple strategies I’ve developed over the years—like brainstorming tricks, sentence starters, and proofreading checklists—that make a big difference. A typical lesson might include a short warm-up activity, writing practice, grammar review, and real-time feedback to build confidence and skills.
