About Abida
I currently study English Literature at the very prestigious University of King's College London. I now have been tutoring for 2 years where I initially started at 16 years old. I have tutored a wide range of age groups, from primary to A- Levels. The students I have tutored have consistently attained the highest grades. My methodology includes differentiation where each lesson is tailored to the student's particular need at that moment. I will normally ask the student which exam board they will sit for their exams and use that to mould my lessons. The student will take an active part in learning where I review their understanding of a particular piece of text and then give them alternative ideas and materials so they can comprehend the text better and develop their essay writing skills. I normally set essays at the end and then mark them to ensure the student would be able to achieve the highest possible grades. My lesson length varies depending on the student but is typically 1-2 hours long. I have tutored for 2 years now,
