About Jennifer
Hi! I'm Jennifer and with tutoring experience. I am enthusiastic about literature, and read frequently, having achieved my goal of 52 books read in 2023! I want to pass on an appreciation of literature to my students and help them achieve their academic targets. I believe that the analytical skills honed through studying literature are invaluable, offering benefits that extend across various subjects and life experiences.

I begin by assessing your skills, and together we will create a personalized learning plan tailored to your areas for development. I employ a variety of teaching methods to ensure you enhance your skills, knowledge, and understanding, helping you achieve your target grade. I believe that guided independent learning is essential in English Literature to effectively develop literary analysis and writing.
Every student is different, so whilst I usually recommend an hour for lessons, this can vary depending on the students goals.
I have three years of English literature tutoring experience with Kumon and have achieved stellar grades at both GCSE and A-Level. I also have plenty of online tutoring experience, and I adjust my tutoring-style compared to when giving one-to-one lessons in person.
My lessons are for KS3 and GCSE students.
PLEASE NOTE: I DON'T HELP WITH ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE, ONLY ENGLISH LITERATURE
