About Madeleine
I have loved reading and creative writing from a young age, making English my favourite subject throughout my time at school and urging me to study it at university. I love working with younger people and regularly tutored GCSE students whilst completing my A-levels before working as a teaching assistant during my Gap Year. I hope to help others progress and gain confidence in the subject :)

I plan to adapt my teaching methods and style to each individual student's needs. I am therefore very open to any feedback and specific requests from students. My lessons can range from 20 minutes to an hour, depending on whatever best suits you!
I have previous experience as a teaching assistant at a local school which involved tracking student progress and devising personalised lesson plans.
I achieved 4* at A-level, in English Literature, Spanish, Geography and an EPQ. I am also currently on track to achieve a first in my BA in English Literature at the University of St Andrews. My name was added to the Dean's List Award this year for academic excellence.
