About Georgia
I'm an English Literature student at UCL, in one of the best English Departments in the UK. I have top grades in three essay subjects at A-Level. I'm also an editor of a university arts journal, and worked in communications at a Cambridge University college before beginning my degree. I mentored primary school students during Sixth Form, with a focus on reading and writing skills. I really enjoy teaching reading, spelling and grammar, as well as more complex skills like essay writing and creative writing!

I will tailor my teaching to you, so that you can direct me to the areas you need most help in. I'll pay attention to your learning style, and always listen to your thoughts and feedback, so you have the best possible learning experience. I'll make sure you learn actively, whether through educational games or dialogues, to keep you thinking and engaged without zoning out!
Above all, I'll try to help you enjoy reading, writing and our lessons together. Access to literature really does mean access to the whole world, at any level; I'd love to help you experience that. I'll encourage you to be creative and pursue your interests (as well as sharing my own), while also improving your accuracy, writing and critical thinking skills. These skills will be used your whole life, so I know how essential it is to perfect them now, and I'll be with you every step of the way.
While I'm new to Superprof, I have extensive experience with all these skills. As a tutor, I'm patient, organised, friendly, and excited at the prospect of working with you.
