Hello! I am a third-year English Literature student with many years of experience helping students with reading, writing, grammar, and literary analysis in all years. Whether you want to establish a solid foundation in writing essays, enhance reading comprehension, or explore challenging texts in greater depth, I am here to assist you in accomplishing your objectives with clarity and confidence. About the lesson

My flexible, student-centered, and inquiry-based teaching philosophy emphasizes building a strong base in reading comprehension, grammar, and writing structure while encouraging critical thinking and self-expression. I differentiate instruction to address each student's learning style and goals. I encourage clarity, confidence, and creativity in scholarly and personal writing. I appreciate clarity, empathy, and a growth mindset. I meet students where they are—at the stage of wrestling with grammar or refining literary analysis for AP English. My background in both academic research and creative writing allows me to offer both analytical rigor and creative passion. I strive to make each session not only informative, but empowering. I tutor students of all ages (K–12 and undergraduate), including: -Elementary and middle schoolers working on basic literacy and grammar -High schoolers who must prepare for essays, literary analysis, and standardized testing (e.g., SAT, AP English) -College students who need help with analytical writing, research papers, or writing style development Each lesson is built around the student's current curriculum, assignments, or personal goals.
