About Ryan
I’m currently studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, where I’m currently receiving First-Class honour marks in assessments, and predicted to graduate with a First-Class Honours Degree in my final year. As someone who has struggled with their grades in the past, I understand how frustrating and helpless it feels when you aren’t being given the education you deserve. This is what inspired me into becoming a tutor, as I want to make sure people have a tutor who is knowledgeable of the subject, passionate about teaching, and patient when explaining confusing concepts – all of which I am :)

I always ensure that my sessions are fun and engaging, tailoring them differently to each person, as I know that we all learn and respond to teaching in different ways. I never want anyone to feel embarrassed that they don’t know something. At the end of the day, no one is born knowing everything. Increasing your confidence makes all the difference in how you perform in exams and assessments, so we will explore the different ways that you can develop this, in addition to your critical thinking, analysis, and debating skills in essays, as these are the skills that get you the best marks. Rest assured that no matter what you’re struggling with – whether it’s with research methods, essay writing, revision techniques, or something else entirely – our sessions will focus on equipping you with the knowledge and skills required to get you those high marks, and help you reach your highest potential :)
