About Anna
I am a second year student studying English Literature at Durham University. I have completed 4 A-Levels in English, history, politics, and art, accomplishing 2 A* and 2 A grades. I have experience ranging from teaching primary school children to those completing A-levels in sixth form; I have helped teach English and history primarily at higher levels, although I am able to teach younger students a broader range of subjects, such as religious studies and French.

I am flexible in my tutoring believing that effective communication is key, I am able to tailor my teaching so that you fully benefit from my sessions, as I understand that every student is unique in their way of learning. As such, my teaching style can vary from kinetic exercises, such as the "look, cover, write" method for literacy, to far more auditory styles of learning, such as engaging the student in a lively academic discussion regarding their subject. Additionally, I understand that some students are visual learners, and therefore can also implement creativity into studying methods.
