About Charlotte
I am an English Literature student at Durham University and I am incredibly passionate about my subject and the interdisciplinary aspects of this. I enjoy analysing and talking about the content of the subjects I did at A Level, and I find these to be very rewarding and can help students remember content better through helping them think things through themselves. I achieved A*s in all my A Levels and I think helping students in this way makes the process more enjoyable and is intellectually rewarding.

Lessons would be one hour and would start with recall questions (to maintain active learning and revision), before then looking at content for the subject, and then ending the session with essay planning and/or writing practice. Lessons are for GCSE and A Level English Literature, Government and Politics and Drama and Theatre studies. I would communicate with the student to find out what their weaker areas are, and would target learning and revision towards those to help with exam practice. I have experience teaching groups content with revision and have conversations about my subject that can help with a mixed range of learning.
