About Mischa
I’m Mischa, and I’m a second year Law student and aspiring barrister. While I love studying law, English Literature is still a great love of mine, and I miss interacting with texts like poetry, prose and fiction. I also discovered I really enjoy the partnership that comes with tutoring, and getting to know your students and being able to tailor sessions and tasks to them. This was something I was able to do as a student mentor in German, and a tutoring assistant for children sitting the 11+ exam.

Skills and formulae are just as imperative for English Literature as they are for Maths and Sciences. Without these, exam papers, which combine analysis of texts and creative writing, can be incredibly daunting. My lessons will focus on making that first start manageable, using structured processes and lists that students can apply to a text, whether it be prose, poetry, or non-fiction. English Literature is a subject that can be mastered, through practice, technique and confidence, all of which will be covered in my sessions. Hopefully you might grow to love English Literature as I do!
