About John
I have taught English language in the UK, Asia and now in America. I taught in Japan for over twenty years. In total, I have over 22,000 hours of teaching experience! Many of my students are now traveling, studying, working and living in countries around the world. I am so happy to have helped them reach their targets and achieve success.

Each lesson starts with small talk and a short review from the previous lesson. Any homework is also checked, reviewed and finishes with a few Q&As. Then the lesson begins.
Firstly, I will ask questions about the subject to see how much you already know about the area. This is important as you do not want to learn something you already know! Then we will begin. My methodology is to make it as easy as possible for you to understand. I focus only on this area. Time is short so there is no need for distractions. I am patient and willing to answer any questions you have. Then we will practice and review what you have learned. If English is not your first language, you WILL have plenty of time to use YOUR English in class. My lessons are fun and enjoyable and you will learn!
