About Jane

Hi I am Jane and I love helping children develop and grow whilst having fun! Watching the joy on a child's face when they see their progress is an amazing feeling! I know how important it is for parents to find someone to help them to give their children the best possible chances in life, through a firm knowledge of English Language, Literature and Comprehension, and I can do that! I currently teach children aged 6 to 15 years of age English as a Foreign Language, and I tutor British KS1 and KS2 students as well as 11+ and entrance exam preparation for students hoping to go to Grammar School.

About the lesson

My teaching style is friendly and open as I believe that students learn much more effectively when they are relaxed and enjoy their lessons. I can teach 30 minutes lessons or hour lessons dependent on the level and requirements of the students. I currently teach English as a Foreign Language to students aged from 6 to 15 years old. I also tutor KS1 and KS2 English as well as 11+ and entrance exam preparation for English language and comprehension, including verbal and non-verbal reasoning. I tutor online through Zoom or Voov depending on the student's needs. I have a BA hons in English Literature, a level 5 TEFL diploma, and have an enhanced DBS certificate.
