Hi! I’m Darcy, an English Literature graduate from the University of Exeter. I love helping students discover that English isn’t just about exams - it’s about understanding stories, expressing ideas clearly, and feeling confident in their own skills. I focus on creating lessons that are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. My approach My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. I focus on building confidence as well as academic skills, helping students understand texts clearly, improve essay structure, and master exam techniques. Lessons are interactive and structured, with plenty of guidance, discussion, and feedback. I can help with: Essay writing and planning Exam preparation and mark-scheme skills Text analysis and critical thinking Building confidence in English Lesson length Lessons are flexible and usually 1–2 hours, depending on what works best for the student.
