About Harley James
As a multilingual tutor who speaks Spanish as well, I believe that every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. I take the time to understand each student's strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring that every lesson has a clear purpose. I value professionalism, reliability, and open communication with both students and parents. By setting achievable goals and recognising progress along the way, I help learners develop independence, motivation, and lasting confidence in their abilities.

My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and tailored to each learner’s individual needs, goals, and learning style. I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. I use clear explanations, practical examples, guided practice, and regular feedback to help students understand concepts and apply their knowledge independently.
My lessons typically last between 50-60 minutes, although the duration can be adjusted to suit the student’s age, concentration level, and learning objectives.
