About Kate
I am a newly qualified graduate from the University of Manchester and have always had a passion for English language and literature. During my studies I read a vast variety of texts from varying modules and had experience writing and teaching creatively too.

My teaching method depends on which level I am teaching but I enjoy making my lessons challenging whilst also being fun. I teach GCSE, A-level as well as first and second year University modules including close reading, analysis of texts and a thorough examination of the relevant social, historical and political contexts to fully understand and engage with the texts. I will set weekly tasks, which will help develop independent study and which utilise the skills which we will learn in our lessons.
