About Priya
Hi! I'm an English Literature graduate from King's College London with a passion for helping students become more confident readers, writers, and critical thinkers. Throughout my degree, I developed extensive experience in academic writing, literary analysis, research, and essay planning, studying a wide range of texts from Shakespeare and the classics to contemporary literature. I understand the challenges students face when approaching complex texts and constructing strong academic arguments, and I aim to make these skills accessible and engaging. Ever wondered why your teachers say "analyse, don't describe?"
My background as a King's College London English Literature graduate, I help students develop the skills needed to excel in essays, examinations, and academic research. My teaching combines close textual analysis, guided discussion, and practical writing techniques to help students construct original arguments and engage critically with literature. Lessons are typically one hour long and are adapted to each student's needs and learning style. I teach IB, undergraduate students, as well as anyone seeking support with essay writing, coursework, dissertations, or literary analysis.
