About Yasmin
I am a certified English teacher with over eight years of teaching experience in Iran, Portugal, Belgium, and the UK, most recently. I would describe myself as energetic, creative, friendly, and patient teacher who genuinely enjoys helping students grow in confidence as well as ability. My goal is to turn each classroom session into a safe place to communicate, learn from each other, see the world from a new viewpoint, and show students their true potential. I am keen to expand my professional horizons by transitioning further into online teaching, which allows me to reach students from around the world and adapt my teaching to a truly global classroom. Having taught both online and in-person for more than five years, I have worked with learners of diverse cultural backgrounds and age groups in fields such as healthcare and business. This experience has strengthened my ability to tailor lessons to individual needs while maintaining high levels of engagement and academic rigour. My main areas of specialisation include Young Learners, Business English, and Cambridge examination preparation.

My lessons are dynamic, supportive, and carefully adapted to each student’s needs and learning styles. I have over eight years of experience teaching young learners, teenagers, and adults in different countries and educational settings, and I strongly believe that students learn best when they feel confident, engaged, and understood. • Business English • General English A-Z 4 skills • Speaking Fluency Buddy, Conversation Focused Real-life English • Cambridge Exams Prep • Academic English Emails, Reports, Essays, Articles, Presentations I plan my lessons around clear objectives while keeping them interactive and enjoyable. Depending on the learner’s age and level, lessons may include games, role plays, real-life scenarios, visuals, short videos, and guided speaking activities to help students use English naturally and with confidence. I place a strong emphasis on communication, while also working on grammar and vocabulary in context. For young learners, I create structured yet playful lessons using storytelling, movement, songs, and creative activities to keep them motivated and focused. Classroom management and positive reinforcement are an important part of my approach, especially with energetic groups . For teenagers and adults, lessons are practical, fun, and goal-oriented. I focus on improving fluency, accuracy, and confidence through discussion, personalised exercises, and regular feedback. I also specialise in Business English and Cambridge exam preparation (FCE and CAE). In these lessons, I work on exam techniques, speaking strategies, and professional communication skills such as meetings, presentations, and workplace writing, using customised materials tailored to each learner’s needs . I teach both online and in-person and use digital tools to ensure lessons are interactive and effective. Above all, I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and motivated to make real progress.
