About Orlagh
I believe education should build confidence as well as knowledge. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students realise what they are capable of and helping them achieve goals they may have once thought were out of reach. Whether your goal is to improve your grades, prepare for an exam, develop your English language skills, strengthen your academic writing or simply become a more confident reader or writer, I am committed to supporting you every step of the way.
As someone who works with students every day, I understand that progress looks different for everyone. I am patient, approachable and genuinely invested in helping each student succeed. I will encourage you, celebrate your progress and provide the guidance you need to reach your individual goals.
I offer flexible weekend availability to fit around school, university and work commitments. I’m always happy to discuss your objectives before we begin so we can work together to create a plan that suits you.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, learning style and confidence level. Whether you’re looking to improve your English, strengthen your reading and writing skills, explore linguistics or receive detailed proofreading support, I provide a friendly and supportive learning environment.
I hold a degree in TESOL, English and Linguistics, work full-time supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and am continuing my studies with a Master’s in Linguistics. This gives me both academic knowledge and practical teaching experience, allowing me to adapt lessons to suit learners of all abilities.
Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving your academic writing, learning English as an additional language or simply wanting to build confidence, I aim to make lessons engaging, approachable and enjoyable while helping you achieve your goals.
My Lessons range from 40 minutes to 2 hours depending on your preference and I welcome all levels, ages and abilities.
