About Heather
I am a 26 year old qualified primary school teacher. I graduated from Mary Immaculate College in 2020 with an honours bachelor of education. I have spent the last three years working in various primary schools teaching a variety of class levels while also working as an EAL teacher (English as an additional language). I have recently moved to Australia and I am working as a substitute teacher.

As a qualified primary school teacher I approach all lessons with a combined variety of methodologies. Each lesson will involve an introduction of a new theme or topic, structured practice with tutor and worksheets or activities based on theme or topic. Each lesson will be complete with feedback from the tutor but most importantly the student. It is of the upmost importance that the student can articulate how they feel about the lesson and what can be improved on or what would help your learning best. As I am a primary schoo teacher I have more experience with children between the ages of 6-12. However, I am more than happy to work with adults and teenagers. I also have a working with.children check.
