About Nicole

Hi there! I'm an American teacher, writer, and artist who has a passion for travel and connecting with people. I hold a level 5, 150-hour TEFL Certification along with Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art and Art History. Throughout my teaching career, I've worked with students ranging from the ages 4 to 60 years old. I specialize in teaching both English and Fine Arts classes like drawing and painting. My adventures have taken me to 15 countries across 3 continents and I've taught students in Thailand and Peru. I'm currently learning Spanish, and I genuinely understand the ways learning new language can feel vulnerable and intimidating at times. I'm here to create a supportive space where you can make mistakes, grow, and celebrate your wins along the way. As a teacher I’m kind, patient, and dedicated to helping you feel comfortable and confident in your English skills. Outside of teaching English. I have my own creative practice writing poetry and creating watercolor paintings. I am also passionate about spending time in nature and living a healthy lifestyle.

As an educator with 8 years of classroom experience, I've learned how to effectively teach students of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you're just starting your English journey or you're nearly fluent, I’m here to help you boost your confidence and improve your skills.
My lessons focus on balancing all the critical aspects of language: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The best way to get stronger in any language is to use it, and our lessons will include plenty of practice speaking. To keep things fun and engaging, I incorporate games, music, conversation, and role-playing to help you improve your grammar, spelling, and pronunciation in a dynamic and enjoyable way. As a teacher, I make the effort to connect with my students and incorporate their personal interests into our lessons.
