About Brighid
I am a single parent with a family of three adult children and I have been teaching English for many years. I enjoy teaching and always have a good rapport with students. I am very approachable. Students feel comfortable talking to me and I enjoy talking to them. I have learned different methodologies and approaches and more detail on every aspect of teaching English that benefits the students I teach and I especially found the Hancock & Veigga pronunciation course very useful and interesting. Students enjoyed the material and activities I learned from that course.

I have a very student-centered communicative approach. Lessons will be tailored to learners' needs. You will receive feedback on your English pronunciation, speaking, writing, reading. A lesson will last 1 hour.
CELTA qualified and currently doing the DipTESOL with a Hancock & Veigga Cert in English Pronunciation teaching.
I have over 25 years experience teaching English to adults and young adults in Dublin city and Wicklow. I have experience in exam preparation such as IELTS, TIE and Trinity ISE exams.
Lessons are for mainly adults who want to improve all the skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) in English. Levels from A2 to C2.
