About John

I retired as a full-time ESL teacher but still work part-time. I have taught hundreds of students in Asia and Africa before teaching in university and college ESL programs. I hold a Ph.D. along with two master's degrees in English and linguistics.

About the lesson

I have taught a range of students from landscapers to graduate students. I believe students learn best by doing activities that challenge them to go beyond their current level. I provide challenging activities while giving feedback to guide the student towards success.
