About Serenity
My journey in English began with a love of literature and writing, leading me to pursue a B.A in English Literature and an M.A in Applied Linguistics. Over 9 years, I have guided learners of various ages and skill levels, focusing on fluency, comprehension, and effective communication in a supportive, engaging environment.
I emphasise interactive, student-centred lessons combining grammar exercises, reading, writing, conversation, and discussion. Lessons are tailored, engaging, and designed to inspire curiosity and confidence. I encourage learners to explore ideas, ask questions, and express themselves clearly in both written and spoken English.
Beyond teaching, I engage with literature, language research, and contemporary discourse to enrich lessons with relevant examples. Watching students progress from hesitant speakers to confident communicators is immensely rewarding. Supporting their intellectual, linguistic, and personal growth remains the most fulfilling aspect of my work.
