About Giana
I am a retired teacher of English as a second language, interpreter and language coach. My students vary in age, from 2 y.o. to 70 y.o. I have taught English to early learning, primary, secondary and university level. My knowledge of English grammar is excellent and I can make studying literature interesting and fun. Many of my students have gone on to careers or studies where they use English on a daily basis.

I adapt my method to students needs and abilities. Lots of coloured pens, pencils, highlighters and post it notes. I use different media, from YouTube, Films and apps. I believe that being able to express yourself well in English whatever your learning ability is vital and helps build self esteem. An understanding of literature gives invaluable understanding of our society and helps us understand the origins of our beliefs and thoughts. English is fun and interesting.
