About Alex
I am new to Superprof but have been a tutor in both English and Maths at GCSE level. Covering topics ranging from poetry to modern plays and even Shakespeare, I am well versed in a variety of English literature as well as language. All my students went on to achieve A or higher in their English GCSE exams.
I spent three months teaching students English as a second language in China. Here, I had to create my own curriculum as well as teach, and assess my pupils. My students all made positive improvements and the parents of the children were excessively pleased at the progress made.

My name is Alex and I am an English Literature and Language (2:1) Graduate from the University of Leeds, who is currently applying for an MA.
I would like to focus predominantly on GCSE English supplementation and revision. However, I will happily assist with A Level or Key Stage 1 or 2 work.
I am a fairly laid-back teacher and would first like to hear the sorts of topics/themes/work that you need help. I would then let you know how we can both approach the subject so you can benefit from our time together.
