About Anthony
I was never an A student growing up. I hated sitting down and reading a book. It was the biggest waste of time. It wasn't until college that I appreciated literature for what it really is. How it can make you feel. What it can inspire you to do. Literature gave me the inspiration to attend UC Berkeley, where I became a research fellow working with the brightest minds in the world. And for my students, I see that my fire for literature has inspired them to do great things in their lives as well. This is what I wish to show my future students regardless of their passion.

Reading and writing can be boring. It can be hard work and there are times when you want to throw the book you're reading right at the wall until it breaks into a million pieces. I know because I was a student like you. My teaching method is set out not to make literature a boring, dreadful experience, but one that seeks to understand what you see in it and where we can go from there. You have the power to take your education where you want it to go and that is why my method is framed for all grade levels. I am only your guide and teacher.
