About Lizelle
I am Lizelle, a teacher from South Africa. My career spans 32 years in public and private schools, using various educational systems and methodologies. I've taught languages (English and Afrikaans), Social Sciences (i.e. geography, history), Mathematics, Creative Arts (i.e. visual arts, drama, dancing, music), Life Skills, Life Orientation and Biblical Studies. As a caring teacher, I try to accommodate a variety of learning styles i.e. visual, auditory, kinesthetic and writing.

Various methodologies are used:
For younger learners we incorporate drills, songs, games and rhymes.
For older students the use of authentic texts is vital. Learning and retention also happen by means of repetition and associations.
