About Fatima
I’m an English tutor and writing coach. I hold a BS in English and am a writing consultant and academic writer. I work as an academic writing consultant and help students build real confidence in English, whether that means speaking more naturally or writing stronger essays and research papers.

I structure each lesson so learning is always fun, organized, and student-centered. I'm certified through the U.S. State Department’s American English Live teacher development series as well as TESOL certificates from Arizona State University, and I recently will be presenting my own research on language learning at an international academic conference. Typical length of a lesson is upto 1 hour. My lessons are structured but flexible — I build each one around your goals, not a fixed textbook. Outside tutoring, I read novels and work in creative arts, which often shapes how I connect ideas with students.
