About IGLIKA

My love of English extends far beyond the classroom. I am an avid reader with a particular passion for poetry, literature, and the power of language. I love exploring how writers use words to create meaning, evoke emotion, and tell stories, and I enjoy helping students discover these connections for themselves.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Whether walking in the countryside or simply appreciating nature, I often find inspiration in the natural world. Many of the greatest writers and poets drew inspiration from their surroundings, and I love sharing this connection with students to show how language, creativity, and life experiences are intertwined.

My aim is to help students see English not as a collection of rules and exams, but as a fascinating, creative, and rewarding subject that can enrich every aspect of life.

About the lesson

I believe that students learn best when they enjoy what they're studying. With over 15 years of teaching experience and a degree in English, I focus on making lessons engaging, accessible, and tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style.

My lessons combine clear explanations, discussion, practical activities, and regular feedback to build confidence and develop a genuine understanding of English. Whether we're working on literature, essay writing, grammar, exam preparation, or reading skills, I aim to make learning enjoyable while helping students achieve their academic goals.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although I can adapt the length to suit individual requirements.

I have extensive experience supporting students of varying abilities and backgrounds, from those who need extra support and confidence-building to high-achieving students aiming for top grades.
My lessons are suitable for:

KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level students
Adult learners
Students preparing for exams
Anyone looking to improve their reading, writing, communication, or overall confidence in English

Above all, my goal is to help students not only improve their English skills but also develop a lasting appreciation for the subject.
