Hello and welcome!

My name is Kayla, and I am from South Africa. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and have two years of teaching experience. I am passionate about helping students improve their English skills and become confident communicators.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and interactive. I believe that learning English should be an enjoyable experience where students feel comfortable asking questions, practising their speaking skills, and learning from their mistakes.

Whether you are a beginner or looking to improve your vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, or conversational English, I will do my best to adapt each lesson to your individual needs and goals.

I strive to create a supportive learning environment where every student feels encouraged and motivated to succeed. I look forward to meeting you, learning together, and helping you reach your English-learning goals.

Book a lesson with me, and let's make learning English fun, practical, and rewarding!

About the lesson

I am a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic English teacher with a 120-hour TEFL certificate and two years of teaching experience. My teaching style is fun, interactive, and student-centred, focusing on building confidence and improving communication skills. I use simple explanations, examples, repetition, visual aids, and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable and effective.

I offer lessons in conversational English, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, and basic writing. I am proficient in English and Afrikaans and can use both to support learners when appropriate.

In my lessons, students can expect a welcoming environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I adapt each lesson to the student's age, level, goals, and learning pace. My lessons are suitable for beginners, young learners, and students who want to improve their everyday English and speaking confidence.
