About Holly
I am a third-year history university student with experience in tutoring. I have tutored for the past two years, helping out family members and family friends to prepare for upcoming exams and assignments. I have a lot of experience with students younger than myself and with a 100% success pass rate from those I have mentored before, I am confident in my approach to tutoring.

My preferred subject to learn and teach is history.
My teaching philosophy is little and often. I have made the mistake of leaving revision/assignments to the last minute but I have always aimed to work ahead of schedule to relieve stress.
I pride myself on my organisation which is a quality I can help my students with if they are overwhelmed and don't know where to start, I like to make a daily/weekly schedule or to do list of what needs to be achieved.
My teaching methodology is very versatile and can be adapted to however the student learns best. I feel starting with the basics and slowly building up to more in-depth studies is the best way to ensure a student doesn't become overwhelmed. I also like to use small but regular quizzes made easier through a lot of repetition of basic details; in history, for example, this would be key dates of historic events.
