About Janine Lisa
I love teaching because I am passionate about learning and knowledge.
I have taught in High Schools and universities. My main career is in Mental Health, specifically trauma, suicide prevention, and bullying.
My favorite subjects are English and History. Comprehension is crucial to all subjects and to life.
I believe in multi-focused learning - so learning isn't always about sitting at a desk.

I speak English and lessons will be conducted in English. I am passionate about sharing knowledge and fostering real knowledge. I am very passionate about English and history, as well as LO.
Students can expect a typical lesson to look like this:
1. A catch-up on personal issues and classwork - anything that is relevant
2. Set out the purpose of the lesson - is it test revision, is it to go through old tests to foster better understanding. If there are issues, I try to teach other techniques - like comprehension.
3. Conclude with targets and goals for the next week. This may include short homework to test newly learned skills.
My lessons are geared for Grade 7 to Grade 12 and university or college students.
