About Henry
I am currently pursuing a Master of English at the University of Auckland; therefore, my schedule is relatively flexible. In addition to my two years of experience as an English teacher, I gained tutoring experience throughout my undergraduate studies in Hong Kong and the Netherlands. I believe that establishing a strong relationship with students is paramount to conducting effective lessons, and I will take the time to understand your progress and cater to your specific needs accordingly.

I am adept at catering my lessons to the needs of students. I aim to create an interactive learning environment that encourages students to think independently and ask questions when encountering difficulties.
I have two years of experience at an international tutoring school, where I have helped students achieve satisfactory results in GCSE and IB examinations, particularly in poetry and literary analysis.
I am also equipped to teach the fundamentals of English, including grammar, reading, and writing. With an overall score of 8 out of 9 in the IELTS exam, I take a systematic approach to teaching grammar and writing.
Although English is my native language, I am also fluent in Mandarin. I can incorporate bilingual teaching methods into my classes if needed.
