About Melissa
Hi, I’m Melissa, an Australian local and a qualified TESOL teacher with a background in communication, coaching, and working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I have spent years helping adults feel more confident expressing themselves clearly and naturally in English. I’m passionate about teaching because I understand how intimidating speaking a second language can feel, especially in work or social situations. I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing without fear of judgment. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and practical. I enjoy helping students build confidence, improve pronunciation, and develop real-world communication skills they can use every day.

I offer supportive, confidence-focused English lessons for students who want to speak more clearly, naturally and comfortably in real-life situations.
My approach is calm, practical and encouraging, with a strong focus on conversation, pronunciation, listening skills and confidence building. Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you want to feel more confident at work, in social situations, or simply speaking English day to day.
I specialise in working with migrants, expats, children and adult learners who feel nervous, blocked or self-conscious when speaking English. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where mistakes are welcome and progress feels achievable.
Lessons are relaxed, structured and adapted to your level, pace and learning style. My aim is to help you feel confident using English in real conversations, not just in textbooks.
