About Helen
I have a passion and enthusiasm for teaching English. I struggled as a student and have the empathy and understanding of the issues that may arise, for example; wanting to join a conversation but feeling inadequate to do so, or facing an exam with gut-wrenching anxiety. My mission is to create a fun, interactive learning process, where it becomes natural to have conversations or discussions on a piece of music, poetry, or the issues facing our world now or in the past. I aim to create a passion for the English language within my students, so you too can travel freely through this glorious world, taking delight in the music you hear, the movies you watch, getting the job you want, or acceptance into the University of your choice.
