About Amelie
Hello Everyone!
I'm Amelie and I'm currently studying a BA in English Literature at University College London. I'm very lucky to be going to a university that was ranked 8th best in the world this year! It is an enviroment that makes me so passionate about English literature... I would love to inspire the same passion in secondary school students!
I achieved all 8s and 9s in my GCSE's as well as A* in English Literature, Classical civilisations and Philosophy and Ethics at A-level. I know that it tak
es lots of hard work and dedication as well as help from inspiring teachers who can provide personal feeback- I would love to be this teacher that helps you achieve your full potential.
Having worked as a tutor as well as a personal mentor in my previous secondary school, I take a kind yet passionate approach to tutoring my students. I aim to inspire students to become enthusiastic about their studies as well as more focused and willing to tackle some of their problem areas.
Whilst I will ensure that there is personalised feeback that works towards improved exam results, my work for the charity 'Be me' that goes into schools and works with young girls and boys who struggled academically and emotionally in schools enables me to have caring perspective.

- I have a huge passion for both teaching and literature. Having tutored and given exam feeback to many of my peers at school, I have a calm and contructive approach to tutoring. I aspire to be a qualified teacher (teaching at competitive schools both in the UK and abroad) after have have finished my degree in English at University Collge London.
-I also have experience as a personal mentor, aiding secondary school children both acadmeically and emotionally. I also work for a charity called 'Be me project' that goes into schools and works with improving the mental health of young people. I have lots of experience working in schools.
