About Tauriq
My name is Tauriq Gamieldien. I've completed a Diploma in Management at CPUT, worked in corporate and later found my passion for education hence why I've decided to pursue a career as an educator. I'm currently in my second year of my B.Ed degree at Mancosa University. I have a passion for teaching and sports. One of my main motivations for teaching is getting to see the growth that takes place when I put time and effort into seeing someone succeed. I admire the journey and all it entails. I hope to one day inspire young minds to view education not as a transactional process, but a lifelong journey of growth.

My name is Tauriq Gamieldien, a 27-year-old second-year Bachelor of Education student at Mancosa University, majoring in EMS, Business Studies, and English. I am deeply committed to shaping young minds and helping learners reach their full potential, both in and out of the classroom. For me, teaching is more than the transfer of knowledge, it is about inspiring curiosity, fostering resilience, and creating an environment where learners feel valued and motivated to achieve to the best of their ability. I believe that the classroom should be a place where individuals are challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow.
