About Grainne Maire
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre Studies and have been working in the arts since graduation. Additionally, I am qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language and have a complete understanding of how to teach grammar and spelling to teenagers and adults.
I do have a special interest in helping others understand Shakespearian and Classical Texts. I hold a firm belief that with the right tools, anyone can learn to understand difficult texts and complex narratives.

I deliver one-to-one online English lessons for Junior and Leaving Cert students. Every session lasts one hour.
Every student studying English will have individual needs when it comes to lessons. I will identify these needs either before the lessons or during the first lesson.
In general, I focus on improving grammar, spelling, and teach the fundamentals of writing (both essays and creative writing). I can help to support the understanding of prose, poetry, and/or drama.
I hold a Bachelor's of Art in English and Theatre Studies, as well as a certificate in teaching English as a Foreign Language. I specialize in helping teenagers and adults improve their understanding of the English language.
