About Olivia
I have been working with students of all age groups since 2014. I began working with preschool aged children and did this for 8 years. After I completed my undergraduate education at Bridgewater State University, I worked as a tutor for K-8 students. Currently, I am working as an 11th and 12th grade social studies teacher in northern Massachusetts. I have always had passion for working with students and helping them meet their academic goals. Growing up in a big family, my parents did not always have time to help me with homework so I utilized tutors at my school. I believe that making learning fun can make a big difference for students who are struggling to understand content. Playing games, hands on learning, and earning short brain breaks are some of the ways I keep my students engaged and motivated.

I am a licensed secondary English and Social Studies teacher. I am currently employed as an 11th and 12th grade teacher. I have 8 years of experience teaching and tutoring students from K-12 grade. I believe that the best approach for all students in the classroom is to minimize surprises and to make the students an active part in their learning. Allowing students to have some power over their academics leaders to self motivation and empowerment.
