About Jaza
My name is Jaza. I am passionate about English language and literature as well as the sciences. I have always been an avid reader and writing has been my passion. This caused me to achieve high marks in my English classes and I can help you achieve such marks as well! I have been very interestedin the sciences as well, particularly biology and chemistry. I am currently enrolled in English HL, Biology HL, and Chemistry SL in the IB program which has and is refining my skills even further. I can help with homework, or simply help improve your writing and analytical skills. If possible, I can try to help with other homework during our sessions as well! I can tutor anyone in grades 3 to 10. I am offering a first 15-minute session for a general discussion about the class for free. All classes are held online through zoom! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.

My classes are mainly for students in upper elementary and in high school. I have previous English tutoring experience with younger kids. Typically, we would read short stories, and then have a question and answer session. After finishing the book, I arranged for the student to write a test to see how much they understood the material. Assignments are also assigned at times (such as writing their own story to familiarize themselves with the language and way of writing). Additionally, we worked on any homework from school. I do not have too much experience with science. I have only had one grade 8 student who needed help with the biology aspect. We mainly went over the textbook material and answered questions provided in the textbook. Moreover, we worked on any assignments from school. Mainly, I helped the students review and revise for their various tests and assessments.
