I have a Master's Degree in English and Literature from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where I also taught and tutored in the University Writing Center. I have been teaching for 7 years and have always been highly rated by my students.

I adapt my teaching method to the student in order to best assist him or her based on their current writing level and learning personality. I base my classes on both traditional lectures combined with student feedback, tailoring each lesson to the student's current needs. I believe in giving positive feedback combined with the necessary critiques to aid the student in moving forward without diminishing his or her confidence. I thoroughly enjoy helping students become stronger, more confident writers, and I look forward to helping you!
