About Amina
I am a university student with a strong interest in English and Humanities subjects, and I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand and express their ideas clearly. I know that essays and revision can sometimes feel confusing or stressful, so my approach is patient, structured, and encouraging. I focus on building confidence as well as skills, so students feel comfortable asking questions and gradually become more independent in their work. I really enjoy seeing when things “click” for someone, and I’m committed to helping students feel more capable, prepared, and proud of the work they produce.

I take a supportive and structured approach to tutoring. I start by identifying how the student learns best and what areas they feel less confident in. From there, I break topics down into clear, understandable steps, using examples and explanations that make the subject feel less overwhelming. My lessons typically include: • Reviewing key content or themes • Working through essay planning and paragraph structure • Practising how to analyse texts or sources effectively • Guided writing with live feedback • Short exam-style tasks to build confidence Lessons are usually 1 hour, but I can adjust depending on what the student needs.
