About Rania
Hi! My name is Rania Natha and I am a determined and friendly tutor currently studying psychology at UCT after matriculating from high school with 4 distinctions, English and History being part of those. I understand the struggles of being a student and being frustrated with the work content having been there myself and I would like to use this experience to help other students prosper in a supportive and educational way. I am passionate about helping younger students achieve their goals while improving their self-confidence and enjoy learning at the same time. Even though I am studying, I take my tutoring job seriously and want to create a positive environment in which the student feels comfortable in learning and growing at their own pace.

I use the questioning approach, like asking 'what do they understand?' or 'what can I help with?'. I also use explicit teaching, like giving full detail and guidance or step-by-step instructions so they get a clear understanding of the work. I speak and understand English fluently and am trained in Afrikaans, but my preference is English language. The students can expect relaxed, but informative lessons from me and they can be free to ask any questions regarding the work and I'll be happy to help with anything. I am prepared to tutor any level the student is in in primary or high school.
