About Lucca
I have just finished a degree in English and film, within that I also completed a placement in which I taught children English and hoped to inspire the enjoyment of reading. I had thoroughly enjoyed this experience and making a small difference to students was extremely rewarding. After that I knew I wanted to teach English again and so I decided to become a tutor and hopefully continue to make a difference and help students develop their ideas.

I believe that every lesson should be focused on the individual as I am aware that every student has different needs in relation to teaching. I am confident in creating a warm and relaxed environment while also being informative and insightful. Every lesson should typically last an hour and I am keen to work with KS2 students to GCSE level ( 7- 16). After completing a degree in English and film, I have a wide range of knowledge on things that are literature and creative writing based. I have also completed the championing literacy placement where I taught a group of students english and encouraged a positive outlook toward reading.
