About Emma
I am dedicated to increasing confidence in children's learning through reading and writing exercises, as well as lively discussion surrounding texts. I really believe in the benefits of personal tutoring to make English an accessible and fun subject to study. I am keen to inspire students, unlock their potential and pass on the enjoyment I've experienced from studying language and literature.
I'm in the final stages of my postgraduate MA in Creative Writing (Plays and Screenplays) at City University London which combines the academic and creative aspects of writing.

Prizes and Scholarships :
Won a scholarship to attend the University’s Summer School at their Malaysia Campus. Studied Travel and Creative Writing, took the opportunity to travel around the country afterwards, recording travels and developing career aspirations.
Nottingham Advantage Award, completed voluntarily, taken in addition to academic studies.
Awarded a bursary last year for Ways With Words, Festival of Words and Ideas in Dartington, Devon.
Major Academic Scholarship at Stover School for English.
