About Muhammad
I am a passionate and patient tutor with over 3,000 hours of online and in-person tutoring experience. I have worked with a wide range of learners with different abilities, helping them build confidence and improve their understanding. I achieved 11 GCSEs at grades A*–C and went on to complete a First-Class engineering degree, an MSc and PhD-level research. I enjoy teaching because I like helping students overcome challenges and realise they are capable of achieving more than they think.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, goals and learning style. My approach is clear, structured and patient, using step-by-step explanations, worked examples and regular practice to build confidence. I have over 3,000 hours of online and in-person tutoring experience, working with a variety of learners with different abilities. I achieved 11 GCSEs at grades A*–C myself and also have a strong engineering background, including a First-Class degree, MSc and PhD experience. Lessons are usually one hour long and are suitable for students needing support with maths, science, engineering or exam preparation.

I know Muhammad as an excellent postgraduate researcher. His supervisor was not only happy with his research but was also amazed by his teaching skills.
He was teaching a Structure module back in 2024-25. The module was very dry and had a historically very low student success rate (70%).
He introduced technology-enhanced learning (TEL) and voluntarily made videos of each hard topic in addition to his normal teaching duties.
His initiative was highly appreciated by students (100% satisfaction rate), and the final student success rate was 98%.
