About Naman
I am a first-year engineering undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia (Top 50 globally). I had a ~95% average in high school, back in Ontario, Canada (where I lived for almost a decade), and I really enjoyed learning math and science.
I started tutoring my peers back in high school, and still continue to do that to date, because the process is so rewarding.
Even though I like learning engineering, I also take part in various sports and activities to make everyday life on campus a bit more exciting ;)

I strive to help people gain a comprehensive understanding of what they want to learn :)
Many times, when I was taught subjects (math, computer science, physics) in the past, I was soon able to apply that knowledge. Unfortunately, for a long time afterwards, I couldn’t figure out WHY some things were the way they were.
I had to struggle to build a strong intuition by myself, and nobody should have to go through that alone. That’s why I love helping people continue building strong foundations from the ground up!
Here's what your first lesson with me would look like:
- We talk a little bit about your broader learning goals
- We break those broader goals into smaller, measurable objectives
- I explain what the overall journey would look like
- And then we begin learning by building onto where you last left off
This approach ensures what you learn is meaningful and ideas stick around for much longer than traditional teaching methods. Along with being more personalized, it's more comprehensive, so you don't trip up when you ascend to higher levels of learning!
